Floors and Textures

Examples Below

The Floors and Textures is a CAD Interface program that facilitates an instant change of more than 250 floor materials in interior scenes generated in your CAD software.

Features:

The program features an easy viewing of textures, by scrolling through images instead of names.

Textures display a name or a number under which they are manufactured or recognized. Instant previews of floor sections, showing how particular texture will "tile" (join together). Automatic loading of selected texture to a directory from which the CAD software reads it. Automatically generated task related instructions. Provides user with additional textures for texture mapping of 3D Models.

All floor textures are accurate representation of available floor materials in US and abroad.

All other textures with exception to woods and marbles are manufacturer documented. All textures are superbly formatted for precise and seamless tiling. The program also includes 90 sizes of more than 20 Persian, Indian, Karastan and other area rugs.

How does the program work:

When selection is made, a model of a floor section with selected texture is generated. This is copied in the CAD to make the floor layout. Once the floor is finished, you can choose from more than 250 types of floor, including ceramic tiles, hardwood floors, parquet floors, plush, sculpted, weave and other types of carpeting. To make a change, select a new floor from the program preview, and shade the screen.

DesignCAD 3D Application:

DesignCAD 3D (2000) program users, can take an advantage of sixty additional material, including chrome and other metals that are impossible to simulate with textures. For the true professional designer, the program features a complete selection of American Standard and Kohler authentic colors.

Other CAD Application:
The path to the textures has to be edited, but essentially the program will work the same. All textures has been carefully formatted and edited to tile seamlessly. This is particularly important when textures are used to create wall to wall carpets.

In the real world, each floor tile is somewhat different, thus creating smooth and homogeneous floor when tiled. When textured tile is tiled in a cad program, any particular shading of that tile will repeat creating an unnatural pattern. The textures of our ceramic tiles have been deliberately rearranged to avoid and minimize creation of unsightly pattern.
